A dental practice team in Milton Keynes are celebrating after being awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the Best Team category at the FMC Dentistry Awards 2017, which was held at the Athena in Leicester on Friday 24th November.
Oxford House Dental Practice, based in Fenny Stratford, competed against practices from across the country to be awarded ‘Highly Commended’. The team had to demonstrate to the judging panel that they had a great team approach to patient care, as well as showing how they go above and beyond their regular duty of care.
Principal dentist at the practice, Dr Kaival Patel, commented: “I would like to thank our Project Manager, Kirsten Beamish, for working so hard to put everything together and to our amazing team for their continued dedication to patient care. Kirsten has been instrumental in ensuring that we were also nominated as a finalist at the Private Dentistry Awards 2017”.
“This award will benefit our patients enormously and it really speaks for itself, as our patients know they will receive excellent care from one of the best teams in the country. We truly appreciate this recognition, not only by our patients but also by the dentists on the judging panel.
Dr Patel added: “As a practice, we are absolutely over the moon at coming home with ‘Highly Commended’. This is only the second year we have entered the awards, so I think a big pat on the back is due for the whole team and a big thank you to our patients who make us what we are.”
